Thank You for Booking a Shoot!

Thank you so much for booking a shoot with me!

I look forward to working with you! Here’s a few tips to help you get ready for your shoot.

Arrive on Time

Arrive at the studio or shoot location on time and ready to shoot. If you have to do makeup and/or hair, please do so prior to arrival, or if you need to make arrangements to arrive early before your shoot to do it at the studio, let me know. I would prefer at least 24 hours notice if you need to do so.

Be sure to call or text if you are going to be late 503-307-2276

Late Arrival Fee

If you are 20 minutes late or more, a $20 late arrival fee will be due prior to your photos being delivered.
If you will be more than 1 hour late, your shoot may have to be rescheduled.

What should I wear for my shoot?

You can wear just about anything you like, but keep in mind that colors make for a more interesting shoot. Black and/or White can look great too, but it's nice to have some contrast between the outfit colors and the backdrop when shooting in the studio. The colors you wear will be considered when choosing your backdrop color.

What if I need a makeup artist?

You can use any makeup artist you choose, but let me know if you need some recommendations. I know a couple of really great makeup artists. Professional makeup is not required for your shoot. I can do fantastic digital makeup. Be sure to let me know if you are interested in having makeup added in post editing. There is a $25 additional charge for digital makeup, which can include one or more of the following:

Face Makeup:

Foundation
Blush
Eyeliner
Mascara
False Lashes
Lip Color
Eye Shadow
Contouring

Hair or eye color changes

Fingernail or Toenail Manicure or polish

What color will the backdrop be?

For studio shoots, I have a variety of different backdrop colors. You can choose from Black, White, Gray, Brown, Red, or Pink. There are also specialty backdrops available for special occasions like Christmas, Easter and Valentine's Day.

If you want a specific color that is not available at the studio, I can change the color of the backdrop digitally in post. Let me know if you have a preference.

Will there be a place where I can get dressed?

There is a restroom or guest room at the studio where you can change.

For outdoor shoots, I have a portable changing room that you can change in if you have more than one look (outfit).

Is it okay to bring props?

Certainly! Feel free to bring anything you want for props. Many people bring items like balloons, banners, flowers, stuffed animals, etc.

Seniors typically bring things that express who they are. For example, Sports players have brought in balls, bats, sports apparel like jerseys. Singers have brought in microphones or anything they feel is relevant to their personalities.

Keep in mind that some props can get messy (ie: Cake Smash props, plants, artificial grass or greenery, rose petals, confetti, etc.) Just be aware that it is your responsibility to clean up the mess if you bring in messy props.

Be creative as you'd like. The sky is the limit!

Can I bring people with me?

Yes and no..

I ask that you only bring yourself and one support person with you. Of course multiple people are welcome for family shoots, but only the number of people specified in your order. Let me know if there are any last minute additions and I'll do my best to accommodate them.

No children please unless they are subjects in the photos. The studio space is not large enough to accommodate multiple guests, and they can be distracting.

What's the studio address?

3022 SW Battaglia Ave Gresham, OR 97080

The studio is located in my home in the heart of SW Gresham. It's about a 35 minute drive from downtown Portland, and a 30-40 minute drive from Vancouver, so please plan accordingly.
